Aberdeen Photowalk - Greyhope Bay to Girdleness

Where: We’ll meet at the bus stop by Nigg Bay Golf Clubhouse, at the top of Victoria Road.
 

What: a walk along the south shore of the harbour mouth past the battery to the lighthouse, returning to the start point via the golf course. Opportunities for seascapes and possibly even some dolphin sightings!


All abilities welcome, bring whatever camera you have.


Dress warmly, the walk is a very exposed and cold area!! Unless the new Greyhope Bay visitor centre is open by then, there are no catering or toilet facilities on this walk.


There is plentiful on street parking near the golf club. The First number 12 service (two per hour on Sundays) and Stagecoach number 59 service (three per hour) both stop outside the golf club, running from Bridge St / Guild St in the city centre.
