#MerseyMeetUp goes to Padiham !

Photowalk around the home town of photographer and camera collector Chris McKie, Chris has also kindly offered to loan attendees on the walk the use of a selection from his vast camera collection (bring your own film) for the duration of the walk. Should you wish to maybe try large format for the first time, Chris will preload some film for you for a small charge. 

The walk will begin at the War Memorial Monument (there is a cafe nearby in the Memorial Park that might be open), we can then stop at Chris's house and studio to pick up a camera for those who wish to borrow one, before winding through the town and enjoying it's characterful houses and buildings. 

Once in town we will then head through a public footpath to the National Trusts' Gawthorpe Hall (the grounds are free to enter) - depending on the weather the footpath may be wet so do bring suitable footwear. 

At the end of the day if we have time then there is the option to go to nearby Burnley to see the Burnley Pride of Place exhibition put on by Jan Williams and Chris Teasdale.
