Toronto Film Shooters Meetup - Spring 2019 - World Pinhole P

A big hello to local and non-local photographers alike! In partnership with The Toronto Film Shooters, we are hosting a photo walk for World Pinhole Photography Day April 28th 2019. World Pinhole Photography Day is a community-driven initiative to get people out to discover the magic of pinhole photography. Our event will kick off with a coffee Meet & Greet in our parking lot, followed by a group portrait taken on our giant pinhole camera. The photo walk will follow a route from our store, to Downtown Burlington, and back again. The mobile darkroom can be used to load pinhole cameras at the start of the walk, and develop paper negatives at the end of the walk. Paper and chemistry will be provided. Single-use pinhole cameras will also be available to purchase at the event (cash only), and in-store leading up to the event. These pinhole cameras are at the cost of $8.85 each, or $20 with liquid chemistry for home developing. This event will happen rain or shine! We welcome analogue and digital photographers. Stick around for an informal time of fellowship at The Queen’s Head Pub on Brant St. in Burlington following the event. NOTE: Burlington Camera will be closed on this day, per our usual schedule. This event will be taking place in the parking lot. There will be NO access to the building.
